Understanding ABA Basics Package

This live, interactive online family training package is designed to teach the basic strategies used in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy. In this training model, A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) connects with trainees remotely and provide the instruction, practice activities, and answer questions across four training sessions lasting approximately two hours per session. This training is ideal for the following individuals:

  • The parent who is considering ABA therapy for their child
  • For the family who receives ABA services already and wants to better understand the actions of the BCBA and/or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
  • for the grandparents or family who seek to support their loved one with autism and related disorders,
  • Families in rural areas struggling to access ABA training
  • Anyone who seeks to know about ABA Therapy basics

In this training model, A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) connects with trainees remotely and provide the instruction, practice activities, and answer questions across two training sessions lasting approximately two hours per session. This training is ideal for the following individuals:

  • The parent who is seeking to better understand the actions of someone with a developmental disability
  • The service professional (Physical Therapist, Speech Language Pathologist, Case Manager, Occupational Therapist, etc.) who is seeking to understand the behavior of their patient with a developmental disability diagnosis and how to immediately respond
  • The grandparents or family who seek to understand and support the behavior of someone with an autism and/or related disorders
